TNVC TNV/PVS-14 L3 OMNI VIII Night Vision Monocular - Basic Kit

The TNV/PVS-14 is a U.S.-made Generation 3 night vision monocular built on the standard-issue AN/PVS-14 platform. Each unit is professionally assembled by experienced technicians following U.S. military guidelines, using factory-new components and carefully selected image intensifier tubes. Multiple kit configurations are available, allowing users to choose only the accessories they need.

This version features a new-production L3Harris Gen 3 Unfilmed White Phosphor image intensifier tube, delivering some of the clearest night vision performance available today. White phosphor technology offers improved detail, enhanced contrast, and approximately 15–20% greater light transmission compared to traditional thin-filmed green tubes. Adopted as the new standard by USSOCOM and JSOC, these tubes excel in low-light conditions and support demanding nighttime operations—bringing the same advanced capability used by top-tier special operations forces.

TNV/PVS-14 units are built to exceptionally high standards and require minimal maintenance. At TNVC, maintenance and repair follow U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps guidelines for PVS-14 monocular systems. Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) are outlined in Army TM 11-5855-306-10 and Marine Corps TM 10271A-10/1A.

According to these standards, routine maintenance is not necessary unless the unit shows visible damage or is not functioning properly. A copy of these guidelines is included with each system. However, if you would like your TNV/PVS-14 inspected, TNVC offers one complimentary annual check. Keep in mind that unnecessary disassembly may lead to premature wear and component fatigue, so preventative maintenance is generally not recommended.
