The Safariland 6280 Mid-Ride Holster is the one that brought the highly acclaimed Self Locking System (SLS) series. As the name suggests, the SLS mechanism is designed to lock the firearm securely under the rotating locking hood. By pushing the hood downwards and rotating it forward, the firearm is readily accessible with a smooth one-motion draw.
Made from the company’s unique thermal plastic material, the holster is designed to protect the firearm from adverse environmental conditions. In addition, the interior is lined with SafariSuede material that prevents scratching the firearm. The mid-ride universal belt loop positions the firearm comfortably and securely. Furthermore, the tension screw allows the user to adjust the retention level. With a retention level of II, the 6280 is ideal for duty or tactical use.
