The Geissele Maritime Bolt Catch is designed for duty use and is compatible with all lower receivers that have been designed to accept a mil-spec M16/M4 bolt catch. The large surface area makes it easier to lock the bolt back and release it during reloads. The extended controls make it easier for left-handed shooters to use the bolt catch with the trigger finger without breaking grip, thus enhancing quicker and more efficient magazine changes and bolt lock. The checkering offers better traction, especially in low-light conditions and with the use of gloves. The Maritime Bolt Catch is machined to precise tolerances from properly heat-treated 8620 steel and features a durable manganese phosphate finish, designed to be a robust, improved mil-spec part for the M16/M4 platform.

Please Note: A mil-spec bolt catch spring and plunger are required for installation and are not included. If replacing an existing mil-spec bolt catch, carefully remove and retain these components for reuse.
Compatibility with billet AR-15 lower receivers is not guaranteed. Due to the extended control design, the Maritime Bolt Catch may partially cover the hammer pin hole. A smaller punch may be needed to remove the hammer pin from the left side, and the hammer pin should be installed from the right side of the receiver only.
