The Kestrel 5000 Series USB Data Cable is a low-profile, lightweight, and waterproof cable designed to provide reliable wired connectivity to both Windows and Mac computers for fast data uploads and firmware updates. It is compatible with all models in the Kestrel 5000 series, including Kestrel 5100, 5200, 5400, 5500, 5700, and Applied Ballistics Kestrel meters.
To use, simply connect the cable to the USB port on your computer and attach the other end to your Kestrel meter. Note that this is not a standard USB connection on the meter, as the Kestrel is waterproof and requires the proper interface. The free downloadable software allows you to easily save data in a comma-delimited text file, which can be used with a text editor, spreadsheet, or database. Applied Ballistics software is available for PC only. The cable package includes a 54" USB cable and instructions for downloading and exporting stored data. Compatible with PC and Mac systems via USB.
