Aggressive venting at the lower 45° quadrants maximizes heat dissipation and significantly reduces overall weight. M-LOK® slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, along with the upper 45° quadrants, provide versatile mounting options—allowing users to configure their rifle to meet specific operational needs.
The MK8 also features Geissele’s proprietary 2.25" barrel nut, increasing surface contact between the rail and receiver for superior alignment and structural integrity. This extended interface ensures a straight, true free-float platform, enhancing accuracy and maintaining zero repeatability even after disassembly and reassembly for maintenance.
