The PVS-14 J-Arm with Wired Magnetic Cut-Off is a standard-issue USGI mounting interface designed to securely attach the PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular to the USGI Rhino Mount. It threads directly into the monocular’s housing and aligns internal contacts to complete an electrical circuit.
This built-in magnetic cut-off feature automatically powers down the device when the Rhino Mount is flipped up. This helps conserve battery life and reduces the visible green glow from the ocular lens, enhancing user concealment in low-light environments.
